This is a SAMPLE of La Vida Loca Workbook, used as part of the Masterpoint Climb 3 (9th grade) curriculum. This sample includes introduction and THREE chapters of coursework, plus samples of the appendices.

La Vida Loca is designed to mimic the board game "Life." Using a mild competition, high school aged students will experience practical lessons in personal economics. Weekly assignments include reading the Inspiration (via webpage links, updated links always available on the Masterpoint Curriculum facebook page and group), weekly research report, financial statement, and saving calculator. Students will learn to budget, track income and expenses, explore the impact of savings and debt, and gain experience using a ledger, graphing, and calculating compound interest.
